Managing Partner

Douglas N. Boyle, CPA - Doug began the practice in 1986.  Upon graduating from Vanderbilt University, he began his career with a national public accounting firm.  After two years in public accounting, Doug spent five years in the printing and publishing industry in a managerial capacity.  He completed his career in printing as the Vice President of Finance of a $30 million printing company.  Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, has served as President of the Carroll Creek Rotary Club, as President of the Maryland Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, and on the board of the Salvation Army.  His wife, Suzanne, is a dentist in Frederick, Maryland.  This email address is being protected from spambots. Accounting Managers

Valerie Dougherty, CPA - Val received her degree in Business Administration from Frostburg State University.  She currently serves as Treasurer of the Frederick County Women's Commission, and is very active with their initiatives.  Val has been with the firm since 1994, and specializes in corporate tax, financial statement preparation, Quickbooks and payroll support.  This email address is being protected from spambots. Bert Defoe, CPA - Bert received a Master's in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He joined the firm in May of 2014 after previously working at a national public accounting firm for nearly 7 years.  Bert specializes in all aspects of partnership tax.   This email address is being protected from spambots. Robert G. Reilly, CPA - Rob received his B.A. from SUNY at Stony Brook and his M.B.A. from Adelphi University.  He previously worked in private industry in a managerial capacity for fifteen years, and for five years in public accounting.  He has been with Boyle & Company, PA since 2004, and specializes in individual tax preparation. Carolyn Boyle - Carolyn graduated from the University of Richmond and joined Boyle & Company, PA in 2005.  Carolyn serves as both the controller for Boyle & Company, PA as well as providing corporate tax preparation. Andrew Tuttle -   Andrew graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in finance.  He joined Boyle & Company, PA in December of 2011.  He provides both individual and corporate income tax preparation as well as assistance on special projects.  This email address is being protected from spambots. Kate O'Leary, CPA - Kate graduated from the University of Maryland and recently became a CPA in 2013.  She joined Boyle & Company, PA in February of 2012.  She provides individual, corporation, and trust return preparation as well as preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements.  This email address is being protected from spambots. Theresa Rosner - Theresa joined Boyle & Company, PA in June of 2012.  She holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Maryland, and has served as the Treasurer of both the MOMS Club of Frederick and the Maryland Sheriffs' Youth Ranch.  Theresa provides corporate tax preparation.  This email address is being protected from spambots. Patricia Driver, CPA - Patricia joined the firm as a senior accountant in January of 2014.  She is a licensed CPA in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina and has over 30 years of experience as a tax accountant.  Patricia holds a B.S. in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology.  She currently reviews all individual income tax returns and prepares corporate and partnership income tax returns.   This email address is being protected from spambots.
